I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in photography in the December of 2007 and moved to Greenpoint, Brooklyn this past Spring.

Since moving away from home for the first time, I've found myself thinking a good deal about where I came from. In January I began working on a project tentatively titled 'Cold Wind.' The photographs in this body of work explore the different roles we play in our families as we grow older. Three generations of women in my family tie this work together.

I am reading 'Middlesex.' It is fantastic.

I continue to enjoy the view of Manhattan from my roof.
